Kathy King Mischik started Lollipops...Bagwear with Flair! in 2007. Kathy, a former advertising account executive with the Boston Globe for 15 years, handling fashion, financial, and media accounts - parlayed her fetish for bagwear into a business, staring off with trunk shows featuring duffle, tote, rolling luggage, make-up cases and more...and then in partnership with Bonnie Hertberg at Citrus in Hingham Centre.
Kathy recently traveled to Italy in search of new fashions in the bagwear business and good buys to pass along to her customers...Lollipops has taken on a "fun and affordable" giftware line with the opening of the Coop, great for birthdays/anniversaries/hostess gifts etc...
Kathy is a resident of Hingham and the mom of two young daughters, Marissa, 11, and Karina, 9 , who are also involved in the business, helping to pick products that are acceptable to the 'tween market, an audience, they aim to please.
Kathy's girls also create and sell some of their own items, picking the fabric and designing such things as, tote bags for school or sports, and headbands of their own creation...also available at the Coop...Lollipops is a mom/daughter business.
